Ideas for knitting the park together

- connect two park benches together
- make a tree cozy
- knit around the park rails
- knit some small squares of the chess boards
- knit leaves and birds nests to the branches.
- make a spiderweb on the grass
- connect other objects together
- make a sculpture

We encourage you to be artful and considerate of the park.
We encourage to make thoughtful donations to the park, and consider quality not quantity.

please add more suggestions.

ROCK ON you all!
I hail from Chicago, and I fully support activist knitting in all its forms!!!
Last year I organized Stitchfest 2005 www.chicagostitchfest.blogspot.com, and this year we are bringing it back in June.
I just found out about another group that is encouraging activist/solidairty knitting: Threads of Compassion: they are at http://threadsofcompassion.bravehost.com

Happy knitting and happy spring!!
